Crochet Hair, the new favorite protective hairstyle.

What is the Crochet Hair method?

Crochet Hair (or crochet braiding or 'the crochet method') is adding hair extensions to one's braided hair. Unlike weaving extensions, crochet hair can come ore-looped or loose without a weft. Crochet hair is looped underneath the cornrows to secure hair to one's hair. The best way to apply the Crochet hair to the cornrow is with a crochet needle, shaped as a hook, to secure a looped knot.

Can you wash Crochet Hair?

Yes, unless otherwise stated on hair packaging. First, rinse hair with luke-warm water, hot water can affect the texture of the crochet hair. Next, fill up an applicator hair bottle half with shampoo and dilute with water. Apply shampoo mixture to roots and cornrows. Rinse and repeat this method using conditioner in the applicator hair bottle.

Synthetic Crochet Hair dries faster than cornrows. Wrap hair with a t-shirt or microfiber towel or we recommend taking 5-10 minutes to use a blow dryer to dry out your cornrows to help the drying process, otherwise your hair might mildew!

Don't forget to apply a styling product to the crochet hair, and style as normal.
